Welcome to the Monthly Book Lunch

Rijksmuseum Meermanno is the premier gathering place for everyone connected to the world of books: from creators and cultural institutions to avid readers. During our monthly Book Lunch, we bring this vibrant network together in an informal setting. Each edition features a special guest who shares a current or remarkable project in a 10- to 15-minute presentation, followed by plenty of opportunity to catch up, exchange ideas, and forge new connections.

The lunches take place on Thursdays from 12:00 to 13:00, with an optional extension until 13:30. Participation is free of charge, and walk-ins are always welcome. Would you like to guarantee a spot or do you have any questions? Feel free to contact us at online@rijksmuseummeermanno.nl.

Join us over a casual lunch to hear Maurice van Es speak. In 2025, Huis van het Boek invited Maurice to create a Rooms of Now publication focusing on the museum itself—the 56th edition in this ongoing series. The book is now nearing completion. During the Book Lunch on July 2, an exclusive preview will be presented. Don't miss it!
