You might gather your reading club in the large or small museum café, or, weather permitting, relax in our beautiful museum garden. How It Works
We want you to feel completely at home and free to go about your day. In the café, you can purchase coffee, tea, and soft drinks to enjoy while you read or deliberate. Are you visiting The Open House Commons for the very first time with your entire book club or association? We would love to offer you an extra warm welcome by treating you to your first drink. You can simply collect a voucher at the bookshop or the ticket counter to redeem for a complimentary, freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea in the café.
Cultivating a Welcoming Atmosphere Together
We believe in a space defined by flexibility and a mutual respect for one another and our surroundings. We kindly ask every visitor to help nurture this open and gracious atmosphere. Together, we can ensure that this remains a place where everyone feels welcome and where our shared love for literature always takes center stage. To maintain a pleasant environment for all, we have established a few house rules.
